What a fantastic year of learning our new culture, building relationships and joining in the ministry God has been doing here in Uganda.

Here are a few highlights and photos:

* The mission team here has been discipling a total of 15 pastors from around the Mbale area to help them grow spiritually. One of these groups will be concluding in March 2017 and we will begin 2 more groups. We are praying that God leads us to 8-9 guys for each group.

* We have significantly partnered with 10 churches in their work of development and visited over 50 churches all over the country to encourage them and equip them with Bible study tools.

* We are building a discipleship & training extension center two hours north of Mbale so that we can extend our discipleship groups to include the northern regions of the country.

* We made trips throughout Uganda and South Sudan in 2016 and we will continue these trips to equip the churches and leaders with Discovery Bible Study materials and training, so that churches can easily study the Word of God.

* Mbale Church of Christ hosted a youth conference this year with 370 registered youth and a total of 400 people in attendance. We were encouraged to see pastors involved in our discipleship training pouring themselves into the young people during the main sessions. 37 youth were baptized and 157 english Bibles were distributed.
* Gina has been mentoring 4 college women from Livingstone International University every Friday, and she looks forward to building relationships and discipling these women.

* We had an end-of-the-year Christmas party with the people who work for us and their families. It was a great day of hanging out, playing football (soccer) and eating food together. We are blessed to have such wonderful people work for us and help us with life here.

God continues to be faithful along this journey and we look forward to see how He works in us and through us in 2017.
