I don’t know about you, but I love hearing from Adalyn and how she continues to grow. We love her heart for others, how she can relate to small children and adults, that she can be silly and serious, her quick wit and sarcasm (most of the time), the great conversations we have as a family, and so much more. How tall are you now? Taller than mom and dad (5’ 8-1/2”)
What are you excited about being 14? I don’t know, maybe more privileges
What TV shows are you watching right now? Surviving Summer, Percy Jackson and the Olympians
What are your favorite foods? Breakfast – Weetabix with honey and bananas; Lunch – Leftover steak or chicken when dad grills; Dinner – Sweet & sour chicken with rice
What are some of the things you like to do? Play with my dogs, hang out with friends, and play football (soccer)
What clothes are mostly in your closet? Shorts, t-shirts and soccer jerseys
What is your go-to snack right now? Milk sticks or biscuits with Nutella, and apples
What book(s) do you like to read right now? Percy Jackson series and Heroes of Olympus series
What are you thankful for? My family, good friends, my dogs, and my home
What is something you’d like to change in the world? The fact that we can’t get Amazon here. 😉 And I wish it was easier/faster to travel to see family and friends.
What are your favorite games? Video game – EA Sports FC 27; Board game – Risk; Card game – Exploding Kittens
What candy do you like? Peanut butter M&Ms, Sour Patch kids, Cadbury chocolate bars
What has been something difficult you have overcome this year? Friends leaving, and not being with friends at school every day
What movies can you watch over and over again? Any of the Marvel movies
What do you like about homeschool? Flexible schedule; being able to get things done in my timing and not waiting on others
What do you miss about being at Tyler school? Always having friends around and yummy school lunches
What is your favorite sport? Football (soccer)
If you could go anywhere for the day, where would it be? Why? Australia to try surfing again or Italy for the pasta and gelato
What do you want to be when you grow up? Maybe a vet
