Since ALOT has happened this past month, we felt it was worthy of a newsletter and a blog post. We are excited to see how God continues to move.

First of all, we have a rent house in Uganda. I have attached a few photos for your viewing pleasure. Secondly, we are honored that Western Hills Church of Christ in Temple, Texas will be partnering with us. We are excited to be an extension of this church family and the ministries they are already so involved in the community. We hope to be their hands, feet and mouth to share Jesus in Uganda.

Thirdly, we are at 92% fully funded in regards to our monthly financial support team. We feel so blessed by the outpouring of people’s excitement, energy and desire to be part of the work in Uganda. We have also completed the online aspect of giving, which has taken more logistics and preparation than we originally anticipated, but here’s a link for ONLINE GIVING. We hope that this will be a helpful and useful tool for those who want to partner with us.

Fourthly, we have heard from grant organizations that we contacted to help with the start-up expenses of the mission work, and we will be receiving a large amount of money towards our start-up expenses, which means we only need about $5,000 more to complete our need. What an amazing blessing!

We are in complete awe of how God has paved the way so clearly for us. We have known all along that if He is calling us to this work in Uganda, He would lead the way. We continue to pray and ask for prayers because this part of the journey is not over. We still have several months of training, preparations and logistics to finalize. We also have to face the difficult reality of saying goodbye to so many amazing family and friends.

But we are so excited about everything that has happened this month, so we couldn’t help but share it!
