Adalyn is 4 years old today and we are celebrating her first birthday in Uganda.  We celebrated by going to the Entebbe Zoo, being part of a Halloween party for the expat community, and of course, having cake. We thought it would be fun to ask her some questions, so you could see where she’s at in this point of her life…

7. What is your favorite game?  Pretending to be a puppy but an immediate second is wrestling
   
8. What is your favorite snack?  Fruit snacks
   
9. What is your favorite animal?  Giraffe
   
10. What is your favorite song?  “Oh My Soul” (10,000 Reasons)
    
11. What is your favorite book?  Panda Palace
    
12. What is your favorite subject in school?  Working in the dinosaur workbook & learning sight words
    
13. What is your favorite sport?  “Racket” which is badminton
    
14. What is your favorite thing to have for breakfast?  Bananas every morning but bacon is a favorite
15.  What is your favorite thing to do outside?  Playing with Phillip and playing in the dirt
16. What is your favorite drink?  Passion fruit juice made by Evelyn
    
17. Who are your best friends?  Lily, Jackson, Keona, Phillip, Graham & Molly
    
18. What do you like to take to bed with you at night?  Blanket and lots of stuffed animals (glow stick when the electricity is out or we travel)
19. What is your favorite thing to have for dinner?  Steak & irish (potatoes)
    
20. What is your favorite Ugandan food?  Chipati, chicken soup & posho
21. What do you want to be when you grow up?  Escari (she loves helping our security guards work around the compound) – She also says she wants to be in charge
