It’s hard to believe we have a pre-teen, but it has been such a joy to watch Adalyn grow into the beautiful young woman she is. She’s still a child at heart, but it is a blessing to see how God is molding her to be the woman she will be. We have enjoyed asking her questions each year, and if you’ve been reading them all these years, you’ll see how some of them are the same, and some of them share her heart as she continues to mature. Here are the questions for this year…

• How tall are you now?  5’ 7”
• What is your favorite color?  Orange
• What 5 words would describe you?  Kind, loyal, trustworthy, funny, sarcastic
• What TV shows are on repeat right now?  Inbestigators, Henry Danger, Sam & Cat
• What clothes are mostly in your closet?  Jerseys, sport shorts
• What are some of the things you love to do?  Playing with the dogs, video games, hanging out with family
• What is a new activity you learned this year?  Gagaball… and field hockey, cricket, rugby (British sports from a British teacher)
• Who are your role models?  Mom and dad
• What is the hardest thing about being a kid?  Dealing with growing up and maturing, and having guys be rude or inappropriate
• What is your favorite lunch?  Corndogs from school; Mac & cheese with hotdogs and edamame from home
• If you could go anywhere for the day, where would it be and why?  I would go back to America to see family, and to eat lots of yummy food
• What book(s) are you enjoying right now?  Diary of a Disciple and Bad Guys series
• What are your favorite games?  Settlers of Catan as a board game, Exploding Kittens as a card game, Rocket League and Minecraft as video games
• What do you like about our family?  We’re close and we have fun together
• What are you thankful for?  Hopper the rabbit, our chickens, our dogs, our family near and far, living in Uganda, having a big yard to play in  
• What is your go-to snack right now?  biscuits and Nutella, apples and peanut butter, Ugandan snacks
• What do you like about school?  Recess, PE, math
• What is your favorite thing about home?  It’s my place of comfort
• If you could have one super power, what would it be and why?  Teleportation because it would allow me to quickly go wherever I wanted without long flights or jet-lag
• What movies can you watch over and over again?  Bad Guys, Tom and Jerry, Descendants series
• What has been your favorite place to visit and why?  Australia and New Zealand to see the Women’s World Cup
• What do you want to be when you grow up?  Professional soccer player
