This past weekend we were blessed to spend time with my family in the Dallas area. We spent four days at my parents house and celebrated Valentine’s Day with a double date with my parents – teenagers BE ON GUARD…you CAN be friends with your parents! (It’s amazing!) But that’s not the point. The point is that at several different times this weekend I was reminded of the cost of following Jesus. At the end of December 2014, a chapter of ministry that started ten and a half years ago came to a close, and a new chapter awaits.

Starting about 4 years ago, we began asking ourselves a very challenging and uncomfortable question: “Is God calling us to serve Him on a foreign mission field?” It’s no secret that we have always held missions and reaching the lost as central to the call to follow Jesus.
